The Technical Services Section consists of three sections, the Road Technicians, Intake Technicians and Latent Print Examiners. The Road Technicians are summoned to various types of crime scenes to assist officers with photography, processing for latent prints, diagramming and collecting items of evidence and property. There are currently four Crime Scene Technicians assigned to road duties.

The Intake Technicians are tasked with the responsibility of maintaining control of all evidence and property submitted to the Technical Services Section. The Intake Technician completes the submission process of evidence or property by first confirming that the evidence or property has been submitted correctly by the department member then a bar code, along with a storage location is assigned to each item of evidence or property. The Latent Print Examiners are of Expert Quality. They review fingerprints and match them to suspects which enables us to provide possible leads in crimes that are committed.
