The Special Operations Bureau is managed by Major Guy Howie, ghowie@ocalapd.org,  and supervised by Captain Carmen Sirolli, csirolli@ocalapd.org. Officers within this Bureau work in specialized fields, and dedicate their time to their specific roles.  Many of the officers within this Bureau have completed specialized training to excel in their respective positions.

 The Speical Operations Bureau consists of several units, to include:  The Traffic Enforcement Unit, K-9 Unit, Bicycle Unit, Special Deployment Unit, S.W.A.T., Mobile Field Force, Community Service Specialists, and School Crossing Guards.
