The Property Crimes Section is a division of the Investigative Service bureau, and is responsible for investigating felony property crimes occurring within the city limits of Ocala. These crimes include Arson, Burglary , Auto Theft, Grand Theft, and Criminal Mischief .

 There is a Sergeant and four Detectives assigned to District I and a Sergeant and four Detectives assigned to District II. District II is also responsible for investigating crimes in the Downtown Sector.
