There are many different programs, offered by the Ocala Police Department, that allow the citizen's of Ocala to become involved in the community and policing operations.  Programs such as City Watch, The Citizen's Police Academy, and The Ocala Police Department Volunteer Programs, are geared towards adults and the relationship between the Ocala Police Department and the citizen's of Ocala.  The Police Explorers program is geared towards High School aged students, and is a great opportunity for young men and women to become involved in certain events and operations of the Ocala Police Department.  Many of our Police Explorers go on to become Police Officers and other employees of the Ocala Police Department.
