Our Mission

The mission of the Ocala Police Department is to accomplish through officer/community collaboration, the identifying and solving of crimes and other problems. The Ocala Police Department exists to safeguard life and property, deter crime, and maintain order for the City of Ocala.

 Our Goals for 2010/11

• Reduce violent crime in our community

• Reduce traffic crashes citywide

• Increase police visibility within the safe neighborhood initiative
