ARMED ROBBERY - PANERA BREAD
On 8/5/13, Panera Bread at 2370 SW College Rd, #101, was robbed at gunpoint.
On Monday, August 5, 2013, at approximately 11:05 PM, officers responded to the Panera at 2370 SW College Rd, Suite #101, in reference to an Armed Robbery that had just occurred to the business. The suspect is described as a black male subject wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, a bandana around his face and one black shoe and one white shoe.
The suspect entered through the back door of the business. There were three employees present at the time. The suspect was brandishing a silver colored handgun and pointed it at two of the employees and ordered them to the ground in the back prep area. He then got the manager from the office, pointed the gun at her head and directed her to empty all monies from the register into a paper bag. He then forced her to open the safe and add all the money within to the contents of the paper bag. Prior to leaving, he ordered all three employees into the manager’s office and then fled the scene.
No one was injured as a result of this incident. Surveillance video was obtained and is being released in the hopes of gaining assistance from the community on the identity and/or location of the suspect in this case.
