Thanks to assistance from the public, the suspect in the theft of TV's from a local Walmart has been identified.
On April 15, 2013 the Ocala Police Department released information on a suspect who had stolen a television from Walmart. The white female suspect had stolen a 46" Sony flat screen television at around 1:35 PM on April 14, 2013. She returned later that same date, dressed in different clothing, and attempted to steal a 50" Samsung flat screen television. When confronted by Loss Prevention personnel, she resisted and physically attacked him. The Loss Prevention officers then stopped his attempts to detain her and she fled.
