Help the Ocala Police Department select our new Patrol Vehicle design.

4 teams from Ocala Police Department personnel were tasked by Chief Greg Graham with developing new graphics and designs for our new police vehicles.

Vehicle # 853 Agent Jose Gonzalez and Officer Nigel Hardy.
Vehicle # 854 Sergeant Angy Scroble and Officer Patty Mraz from Youth Development
Vehicle # 855 Sergeant Frank Zadnik from the traffic division and Detective Steve Thibodeau
Vehicle # 857 Officers Mark Crandall and Jimmy Pitman from the Patrol Division.

Chief Greg Graham decided to change the police vehicles to a more traditional black and white design. It has been 29 years since the Ocala Police Department has changed to the blue and white patrol vehicle design and Chief Graham came up with the idea of getting the community involved in the project. There are several business partners involved to help reduce costs to the taxpayers. Special thanks to BB Graphics, Detroit City Customs, Wrap Pros, and City Collision.

The vehicles will be unveiled on Thursday October 18, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Ocala Police Department, 402 South Pine Ave. The vehicles will also be on display throughout the month of October, at the Farmers Market on the Square, the Red Ribbon Event at the Ocala Police Department on Monday October 22 at 6 PM, the Blessed Trinity Carnival, and finally the Ocala Pumpkin Run.

Each team designed their own Patrol Vehicle and they will be set up for display at various locations throughout the city. We are encouraging everyone to get involved and vote on your favorite design. You will be able to vote for your favorite vehicle by posting on our Facebook page, or emailing your vote to votefornewopdcar@ocalapd.com.
