The Ocala Police Department announces Ocala/Marion County Crime Victim’ Week Activities.
The Ocala/Marion County Crime Victim’ Week will kick off on April 23, 2012 at 11 AM with the Opening Ceremony on the Ocala Downtown Square. Mayor Kent Guinn and Chief Greg Graham will be among some of the dignitaries present and many victims’ will be on hand to tell their story.
The Ocala Police Department announces Ocala/Marion County Crime Victim’ Week Activities.

The Ocala/Marion County Crime Victim’ Week will kick off on April 23, 2012 at 11 AM with the Opening Ceremony on the Ocala Downtown Square. Mayor Kent Guinn and Chief Greg Graham will be among some of the dignitaries present and many victims’ will be on hand to tell their story. This ceremony will last one hour so we hope for a big turnout.

On Tuesday April 24, the Ocala Police Department will host a Safety Workshop for the elderly from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

On Wednesday April 25, the Ocala Police Department will sponsor the Day of Sharing from 11:00 AM to 6:00 Pm. We are encouraging everyone to donate items for the Domestic Violence/ Sexual Assault Center. You can call Wendy at 622-9495 to see what items are needed.

On Thursday April 26, the Ocala Police Department will host a workshop covering, Domestic /Dating Violence. Human Trafficking, and Child Sexual Abuse Awareness from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
