EVENT TO FEATURE THE LATEST LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHCILES
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is the host location for a featured event to showcase the latest vehicles designed specifically for law enforcement.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is the host location for a featured event to showcase the latest vehicles designed specifically for law enforcement. It’s open to the public and will happen 1:30-3 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at MCSO Central Operations, 692 NW 30th Ave., Ocala. Ocala Police Department, along with Citrus and Levy County Sheriff's Offices are planning to have representatives at the event. You can get up-close look at the new Ford Police Interceptor, and the Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle. Plus, you can see the Chevrolet Police Caprice, Impala, and Tahoe on display. We will have MCSO experts on hand to answer any questions. The car manufactures will have factory representatives available to help with questions. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has a plan to purchase new patrol vehicles. This is an opportunity for people to see where their tax dollars may go.
