| Multi-Agency DUI Checkpoint |

Local Agencies join together for DUI Checkpoint.
|
On Friday, March 5, 2010, Traffic Officers from the Ocala Police Department
will be joined by officers from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, the
Dunnellon Police Department and the Florida Highway Patrol to conduct a DUI
Checkpoint. The location will be the 2900 block of N. Pine Avenue in Ocala,
for traffic traveling northbound. The checkpoint will run from 6:00pm until
2:00am.
This is a joint effort by the agencies involved to identify those persons
driving under the influence, remove them from the roadways and, thereby, save
lives.
