HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION - UPDATE
Additional information is released by the Investigators on the Saturday, February 13, 2010 double homicide.
Case #201000032017 In reference to the double homicide that the Ocala Police Department has been working since Saturday, February 13, 2010, further information has been approved for dissemination by the Investigative Bureau. The information is as follows: --The method used to kill the victims, Pardee and Hampton, was by gunfire. --There are no visible signs of forced entry to the residence at this time, however, the residence remains in the custody of the Ocala Police Department as the investigation is still continuing. --Two vehicles related to the incident are in the custody of the Ocala Police Department at this time, for processing and searching. --Marijuana was located in the residence by investigators. All available resources are being utilized in the investigation. Further details will be released as they are made available. **************************** Sgt.
