| SUSPECT IN ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY/ATTEMPTED MURDER ARRESTED |

Suspect has been arrested in Attempted Armed Robbery/Attempted Murder Case.

On today's date, Friday, January 8, 2010, at approximately 3:15pm, b/m
juvenile Kenneth Lydell Jackson, Jr., DOB 02/28/93, turned himself in at the
Ocala Police Department. Jackson was wanted for shooting w/m Michael Stewart,
DOB 10/25/85, at Deer Run Apartments on Thursday, January 7, 2010.
Jackson is currently with Major Crimes Investigators at the Ocala Police
Department and will be transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
In addition to the charges of one count of Attempted Murder and one count of
Attempted Robbery with a Firearm, Jackson will also be booked on an
outstanding felony juvenile pick up order.
The Ocala Police Department thanks the citizens for their assistance in this
matter and are happy to have Jackson in custody quickly and without further
harm to anyone else.
