| HOMICIDE INCIDENT |

On 09/29/09 officers responded to 2300 NE 8th Rd. in reference to a shooting. Two subjecs were found to have been shot.
|
At approximately 12:15pm on today's date, 09/29/09, the Ocala Police
Department responded to 2300 NE 8th Rd., in reference to someone having been
shot. Upon arrival, officers located two (2) subjects, one male and one
female, on the ground in front of the business located at that address, Davis
Supply, Inc. Both had suffered injuries from gunshot wounds and were
pronounced deceased at the scene. From information gathered at the scene
this appears to be a Murder/Suicide Incident. The investigators are currently
still working at the scene with the investigator from the Medical Examiner's
Office. They are in the process of confirming the identities of the two
subjects; once this is confirmed and next of kin is notified, their
information will be released.
