The Heritage Bank was robbed on August 27, 2009.
|
On August 27, 2009 at 1:04 PM, Officers of the Ocala Police Department
responded to the Heritage Bank of the Southeast, 1409 E. Silver Springs Blvd.,
in reference to a robbery. Clerks advised that a black male entered the bank
and produced a note advising that he was armed with a gun and for them to give
him the money. Suspect got an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot.
Employees descibed the subject as average build, thin, late 20s to 30s, with a
beard, wearing dark pants, shirt, ball cap and dark sunglasses. MCSO K-9 and
Helicopter assisted in the search.
