An Armed Robbery to a person occurred on 08/17/09 in the parking lot of a local Blockbuster Video Store.
On August 17th, 2009 just shortly after 9:30 PM, members of the Ocala Police Department responded to Blockbuster Video located at 2750 East SR 40 in reference to a reported robbery.
Preliminary investigation revealed that while in the parking lot of the establishment, the 33-year-old victim was approached by two unidentified black males (one armed with a black handgun)and robbed of his cash. The culprits ran off in a northerly direction and were able to evade capture. No injuries reported at time of incident.
Description: Both b/m's described as 5'8-5'9; 150-160 lbs; 18-19 years old. One b/m was wearing a white colored bandana and carrying a full sized handgun (semi-auto); no further description.
