MULTIPLE AUTO BURGLARIES - LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECTS
Multiple auto burglaries occurred at hotel near I-75; Detective Deas is seeking help in idenifying the suspects.
Case #200900132936

On August 9, 2009, officer responded to the Courtyard by Marriott, 3712 SW
38th Ave., near I-75 in reference to an auto burglary. During the course of
the investigation, a total of 3 auto burglaries were found to have occurred
between the hours of 10:00pm on 8/8/09 and 7:45am on 8/9/09.

Vehicle #1: Green Ford Explorer
Items Taken: Digital camera
Memory Card
Garmin GPS Unit
2 Nextel Blackberries
Total Value in excess of $1500.00

Vehicle #2: White Ford F-150
Items Taken: Citizen Watch
2 Fenderstrat Guitars
2 Credit Cards
Total Value in excess of $1800.00

Vehicle #3: Tan Ford F-150
Items Taken: No items missing

In the second vehicle, it was found that the credit cards taken have been used
in Wildwood, FL at a Pilot Station and Orlando, FL at 2 different Walgreens
stores. Surveillance photos of the subjects using the victim's credit cards
from the auto burglary were able to be obtain and are being released in order
to request assistance from the public in identifying them.

The vehicle is a burgundy over gray 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Kansas tag
#723-BAC. This vehicle was used by two b/m's on 8/9/09 using the victim's
credit card in Wildwood and Orlando. Detective James Deas is assigned to the
case and currently following up on any and all leads.

sujects in the surveillance photos is asked to call the Ocala Police
