| ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING |

A suspect is arrested in the shooting homicide of Robert Shaw, Jr.
|
Case #200900133615
On 08/10/09,Detectives in the Major Crimes Section of OPD developed probable
cause for the arrest of a suspect in the shooting death of b/m Robert Lee
Shaw, Jr., DOB 10/23/71. At approximately 12:30 am on 08/11/09, Detectives
located b/m Christopher Breshar Monroe, DOB 12/25/90, at an address in Marion
County. He was taken into custody and Detective Doug Ellzey charged Monroe
with 1 Count of Homicide, Occurred During Armed Robbery and 1 Count of Armed
Robbery.
Monroe was transported to the Marion County Jail.
Information has been obtained on other persons who may have been present,
and/or participated in this incident. This information will be followed up on
by Detectives.
