Shooting Incident that occurred in NW Ocala on 08/10/09 is now a Homicide Investigation.

Just after 4:15pm on 08/10/09, the victim in the earlier shooting at 2037 NW 3rd St., b/m Robert Lee Shaw, Jr., DOB 10/32/71, was pronounced deceased after succumbing to his gunshot injuries. This information is now being release due to next of kin notification having been made.
The investigation is continuing into who may have shot Shaw. Detectives are actively seeking information that leads to the arrest of a suspect in this homicide.
