| SHOOTING INCIDENT |

OPD responded to an incident where a man was shot in a residence in NW Ocala on 08/10/09.
|
Case #200900133615
At approximately 3:01pm, Ocala Police Department officers responded to a call
of a shooting. Upon arrival at 2037 NW 3rd St., a black male subject was
found to have been shot. Emergency Medical personnel from Ocala Fire Rescue
were treating the subject on scene and he was transported to a local hospital
for further treatment of his injuries.
Witnesses advised to having heard gunshots in the area of the residence. A
relative of the victim found him in the house with gunshot injuries and called
9-1-1. An unknown number of subjects were seen leaving the residence, but no
identities are known at this time. Detectives are still on scene and looking
for further evidence and information on this case.
The victim was identified as b/m Robert Lee Shaw, Jr., DOB 10/23/71, of Ocala,
FL.
