On April 11, 2013, Drug Agents from in Ocala/Marion County served a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics and the arrest of two people.
In the early morning of Thursday, April 11, 2013, agents from the Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team (UDEST), served a Search Warrant in North Roads Apartments, 48 NW 21st Place. This Search Warrant resulted from previous purchase of illegal narcotics having been made from this location.

Upon serving this warrant, they located 2 grams of Crack Cocaine, 28 pills/ 13 grams of Oxycodone, and more than $6,800.00 in cash. They also arrested two people from inside the residence:

B/F Chennel M. Carr, DOB 5/28/83
1 Count - Trafficking Oxycodone - Bond $20,000
1 Count - Possessiion of Crack Cocaine - Bond $5,000
1 Count - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Bond $500

B/F Johnie M. McQuay, DOB 1/3/55
3 Counts - Sale of Crack Cocaine - Bond $30,000
3 Counts - Possession of Crack Cocaine - Bond $15,000

UDEST is comprised of officers from the Ocala Police Department and deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office who work together, and with other local, state and federal agencies, to successfully combat crimes involving illegal narcotics in Ocala/Marion County.
