BANK ROBBERY
The Wells Fargo Bank at 3201 SW College Road was robbed at approximately 4:00pm on 03/13/13.
On 03/13/2013, at approximately 4:00pm, a white male entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3201 SW College Road in Ocala and produced a note advising the teller to give him cash. The clerk gave him an undetermined amount of money and he fled from the bank. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'01" tall, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a dark blue short sleeved shirt and blue jeans. The suspect then exited the bank and fled in a dark blue Chevrolet Impala.
The suspect entered I75 at SR200. A vehicle pursuit was initiated that went into Lake County. As speeds by the suspect were estimated to have exceeded 140MPH, the pursuit was terminated.
No weapon was displayed and no injuries occurred as a result of this robbery. Detective Miguel Gauthier is continuing the investigation.
