| Armed Robbery to County Inn & Suites |

An Armed Robbery occurred at the Country Inn & Suites in the early morning hours of June 24, 2009.
|
On Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at approximately 3:55 A.M., the Ocala Police Department responded to Country Inn & Suites, located at 3720 SW College Road, Ocala, Marion County, Florida in reference to an “in-progress robbery”.
Upon arrival, investigating officers located John Mueller, the on-duty clerk, within the business. According to Mueller, as he re-entered the business from emptying the trash, he was followed inside by two (2) unidentified male subjects (unknown races). According to Mueller, the subjects were clad in all dark clothing (i.e. long-sleeved shirts, pants, gloves, and masks). Mueller described one (1) of the subjects as short and stocky and the second as tall and skinny. Mueller advised the subjects were armed with unknown type firearms; one with a handgun and a shotgun, respectively. Mueller advised the duo demanded “all” of the money” and upon receipt (of an undisclosed amount of cash) fled the business in an undetermined direction by unknown means.
