Detective Mark Hoover arrests three men for the recent desecration of the Highlands Memorial Park Cemetery.
This case was immediately assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division and thanks to the support of the media and the citizens of our community a quick resolution was reached with the arrests of three individuals.
Detective Mark Hoover arrests three men for the recent desecration of the Highlands Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ocala police officers responded to the Highlands Memorial Park Cemetery in the early morning hours of a scheduled Father’s Day Service. Responding Officers discovered that unknown persons had caused multiple damages to Gravesite Monuments and Statues in the cemetery.

This case was immediately assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division and thanks to the support of the media and the citizens of our community a quick resolution was reached with the arrests of these three individuals. Arrested were as follows: 1.) Wade Allen Thomas Wagner, WM, 4/16/92 2.) Justin DeWight Raney, WM, 6/6/91, and 3.) William David petty III, WM, 2/21/91. All three men were charged with the 3rd Degree Felony ( Injuring or Removing Tomb or Monuments: Disturbing Contents of Grave or Tomb.

Detective Hoover advised all three men admitted to participating in the crime.
