Phoenix Rising Graduation scheduled for June 02, 2011.
The Ocala Police Department is inviting community members to the first annual Phoenix Rising Graduation. The Police Department will also be celebrating the House Blessing and Key Ceremony for the Cook family.
The House Blessing/Key Ceremony will take place at 1560 NW 14th Street at 9:30 AM. The Phoenix Rising Graduation will take place at 10:30 AM at Zion United Methodist Church 510 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Ten young adults are graduating from the program and each of them earned certifications which will help them with future job placement. Five participants received jobs and two are attending CTAE to further their education.
Present at the ceremony will be Mayor Randy Ewers, Chief Samuel Williams, Brad Nimmo, President/CEO of Marion County Habitat for Humanity, and Premiere Sponsor Frank Duluca, just to name a few of the dignitaries who will be attending.
We hope that many community members will come and share in the heart warming ceremonies which include seeing a deserving family receive the keys to their new home, and the graduation of the Phoenix Rising Participants who worked so hard and were able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time.
