Ocala Police Department makes an arrest in Voyeurism Case at the Target Store on SR 200.

Ocala Police Detective Dan Clark arrested Percell Taylor, BM, 08-03-97, for taking photos up the dress of a 58 year old female customer at the Target Store. On 05-04-2011 a female customer reported to Store Security that a black male had used his cell phone to take a picture up her dress. Officers spoke with Loss Prevention Manager James Aguda and were able to observe the incident on store surveillance. The victim was not at the store upon police arrival.

Mr. Aguda advised he remembered Taylor being issued a trespass warning in 2008 for doing the same thing. Detectives also discovered that Taylor was also involved in a similar case at Wal-Mart in 2010, OPD case number 201000085625, Taylor was not arrested because the victim was not identified in the case.

Detectives were able to identify the victim, and contacted her for a statement. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Taylor for Voyeurism. Detectives located Taylor at his workplace and he was subsequently arrested for the warrant.

Detectives discovered that when they went to Taylor’s workplace a co worker called Taylor who was out to lunch. Detectives discovered that Taylor deleted photos from his phone after receiving information police were looking for him. Taylor was also charged with tampering with evidence. Taylor is being held at the Marion County Jail on $2500 bond.
