Attempted Homicide
On April 26, 2009 a shooting occurred at 2036 NW 3rd St. where 2 people were injured.
On today’s date, at approximately 1:04 AM, the Ocala Police Department responded to 2036 N. W. 3rd Street in reference to a shooting.

When Officers were responding they were advised that there was a victim in the 100 block of N. W. 20th Avenue and a second at the 3rd Street address. The first victim located was a 27 year old black male, of Ocala. This victim had been shot in the left forearm and left hip. The second victim was located at 2036 N. W. 3rd Street. That victim is a 14 year old black female who suffered a gunshot to her right foot. The victims and other family members were in the front yard of the residence. The suspects drove up to the house in a light colored SUV type vehicle. Three of the four occupants got out and ordered all of the people who were in front of the residence to get on the ground. One of the suspects pulled the juvenile victim from a vehicle and shot her. The other suspects then opened fire on the crowd and shot the adult male victim, who was trying to flee the scene on foot. The suspects got back into the vehicle and left the area. Officers were not able to obtain a good description of the suspect vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
