on 01-07-11 Detectives arrested subject for possessing a weapon on school property.
On 01-06-2011 the Ocala Police Department responded to West Port High School in reference to a report from a 15 YOA student that an unknown Hispanic Male threatened her with a semi automatic handgun and demanded that she get into his silver Nissan Altima. The victim reported she refused to enter the vehicle and the suspect left school property.

Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Edward Stephen Albino III, Hispanic Male, 03-07-1992. Detectives discovered Albino owned a 2003 Nissan Altima, matching the suspect vehicle. Detectives sent out a BOLO to Ocala Police Department Officers and surrounding agencies.

On 01-07-2011 at 2:01 AM Officer Dale Parrish observed the suspect vehicle at the Ocala Police Department District 1 Office. The suspect was located inside the vehicle and was subsequently arrested by Officer Parrish. A search of Albino’s vehicle revealed a BB gun that appeared to be a semi automatic handgun.

Edward Albino was charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon on School Property and he was transported to the Marion County Jail.
