The white female who stole a vehicle from Prestige Auto Sales in Ocala has been identified and arrested.
Detective Elias Conde previously release surveillance video and photos of a suspect who stole a 1998 red Honda CRV from Prestige Auto Sales,2261 SW College Road, Ocala, FL on 10/01/10. The suspect was described as a white female, about 30 years of age, 5'6" tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. She had come into the business and advised that she wanted to see a vehicle that was advertised on the internet; a red 1998 Honda CRV. She was shown the vehicle and taken on a test drive. Upon returning to the lot, she requested to take the vehicle to a Pep Boys nearby. She said that her husband worked there and wanted to let him look at the car. She was allowed to do so, but she never returned with the vehicle. The vehicle had a dealer tag of "PA236K" on it at the time of the theft.

The vehicle was recovered in the parking lot of Pep Boys on 10/06/10. Employees indicated that a w/m subject had dropped it off there on the previous date. It no longer had the dealer tag on it.

Detective Conde advised that he received information on who the suspect was from persons who called him directly and via a Crime Stoppers tip, as well. The suspect was identified as w/f Sarah Beth Kiser, DOB 11/15/89, and was positively identified in a photographic lineup by witnesses.

Detective Conde located Kiser at the Walmart, 4980 E. Silver Springs Blvd. on Sunday, 10/10/10, and took her into custody. Kiser denied any involvement in the Auto Theft. She was transported to the Marion County Jail and booked in. She bonded out later that same date.
