This area covers the heart of downtown from East 8th Avenue to Pine Avenue. The Downtown Service Area office was relocated to the Train Station and continues to police the increasingly vibrant North Magnolia business corridor and downtown Ocala. The officers assigned to this area are seen patrolling the area on foot or trolling along on the ever-popular Segways.
DSA officers continue to make frequent contact with the business owners, proving security and gathering community insight. |
