District 2 essentially covers the
portion of the City east of Pine
Avenue to the city limits, excluding
the central downtown area.
During this past year, District 2
moved to a new location to enhance
service for the citizens of Ocala.
The district commander works closely with the Downtown Service Area commander on policing issues in the Historic
District to find solutions to some continuing crime problems in an effort to ensure a more positive and pleasant community
atmosphere for all. |
