Road Closure: Suntree Box Installation, Wednesday, Jan. 17
OCALA, Fla. (Jan. 4, 2018) – Due to the installation of a Suntree Filtration Box in the Drainage Retention Area #51 located at the 1800 block of NE Third Street, a temporary road closure will be in effect at NE Third Street from NE 18th to NE 19th Avenue Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Installation of these filtration boxes is occurring throughout the City of Ocala,” said Sean Lanier, PE, CFM, City Engineer, Water Resources and Engineering Department Director. “They are one of many stormwater best management practices being utilized by the City to reduce pollution in our aquifer and protect Silver Springs.”
All necessary devices will be in place to re-direct traffic. During construction travelers may experience dust, noise and heavy equipment within the project area.
